The GE Optima XR220amx is a self-contained, battery-operated mobile digital X-ray system designed for point-of-care radiographic exams when transporting patients is not safe or practical. It is well-suited for routine radiographic procedures in radiology departments, ICUs, CCUs, emergency rooms, operating rooms, orthopedic areas, pediatrics, patient rooms, and clinics. Equipped with GE’s FlashPad lightweight detector, the XR220amx enables rapid, high-resolution digital imaging with minimal setup. The system’s “stand-by” mode supports near-instant readiness, while its robust battery system and optional 30 kW generator provide power and flexibility for a wide range of clinical procedures, including bariatric applications. Automatic charging algorithms and bin-based detector charging streamline workflow and help extend component life, while the unit’s integrated status displays and power architecture maintain dependable operation throughout the day.
